Google connections and your data
Calendar, Gmail and Drive are optional, read-only connections. You choose what to connect and can disconnect at any time.
FreelanceOS reads upcoming event titles and times from your primary calendar so Flo can answer schedule questions. It cannot create, edit or delete events.
FreelanceOS reads a bounded set of recent Inbox senders, subjects, dates, read state and message snippets when you ask Flo to find possible client work. Nothing is sent, changed or deleted, and a task is only created after you accept it.
You choose specific Google Docs or Sheets with Google's file picker. FreelanceOS never indexes your whole Drive and reads a bounded excerpt only when you ask to brief the file with Flo. It cannot edit or delete files.
Relevant, bounded context is sent securely through the FreelanceOS backend to OpenAI only when you invoke a feature that needs it. This can include a schedule question, Gmail task suggestions or briefing a selected Drive file.
FreelanceOS does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising or use it to train a general-purpose AI model. Connection tokens are encrypted before server-side storage.
Read the Privacy PolicyIn FreelanceOS, open More → Connected Apps, choose Calendar, Gmail or Drive, review the short disclosure, then continue to Google. Google lets you choose or switch the account before granting access.
If Google says an account is blocked by an organisation, use a personal or FreelanceOS Google Workspace account whose administrator allows third-party apps, or ask that Workspace administrator to allow FreelanceOS.
Open More → Connected Apps and disconnect any Google connection. Google revocation applies to the whole FreelanceOS Google authorisation, so Calendar, Gmail and Drive are disconnected together.
FreelanceOS revokes the authorisation and deletes its encrypted Google tokens, connection metadata and selected Drive file IDs. Gmail suggestion fingerprints are cleared on the device. Your original emails, calendar events and Drive files are not changed or deleted.
Review access in your Google AccountTo delete your account and synced FreelanceOS data, open More → Settings → Delete Account in the app and confirm. You can also email us from your account address if you cannot access the app.
Account deletion does not delete the original information held in your Google Account. You can manage or delete that data directly in Google.
